Community ENgagement
We strongly believe that our impact shouldn’t stop at the boundaries of our walls. This is why we have been reaching out to individuals and institutions in our community so that our communities can also provide the resources people with disabilities need to thrive. Additionally, we have responded to the needs of our community, for example veterans from the war, and provided different therapy services for their healing.
Kindergartens and Schools
Caritas Aregak Foundation collaborates with schools and vocational institutions to equip educators with the tools to create inclusive environments for students with disabilities, fostering a culture of acceptance from early childhood.
Professionals in the Cultural Sphere
Supported by the German Federal Foreign Ministry, this fellowship trained over 25 professionals from Armenian museums, libraries, and theaters to make cultural spaces more accessible and inclusive.
Partnership with the Government
Caritas Aregak is a member of Disability Coalition and through collaboration with like-minded partner institutions, we advocate for the rights of people with disabilities and their inclusion.
Veterans from WAR
Following the 2020 Artsakh conflict, Aregak, with support from the Hovnanian Foundation, provided psychosocial services to families of fallen and missing soldiers, prisoners of war, and later extended support to wounded veterans.
